The House Committee Update: June, 2019

Members may have noticed the new clubhouse clock that is now proudly located above the Alan Barrett Suite balcony. The clock has been kindly donated by Carruthers Jewellers of Saltburn and was recently presented to the Golf Club by Peter Carruthers to mark the start of the 125th Anniversary.

The House Committee still have a number of significant jobs on the ‘To Do’ list, including replacement of double-glazed windows and wood surrounds in the lounge and paint makeover in the bar. However, with the golfing season now in full swing and the clubhouse busy with both members and visitors alike, these jobs will now need to wait until the quieter months at the end of the season. Only minor, essential repairs are presently being undertaken and the House Committee team are taking a bit of a break over the summer months.
