With the 2019 golf season over and play now being from yellow tees, preferred lies on fairways are now in place until further notice. Please note that preferred lies, in accordance with the usual rules of marking the ball position, cleaning the ball and replacing it within six inches of the mark, no nearer the hole, is optional and not compulsory.
