The second of the par 5s, which appears straightforward but requires some precise golf. The fairway gently slopes from left to right. The best line from the tee is left of centre as there is a copse of well-established fir trees on the right just waiting for any drive which is struck down the right side.
About 96 yards from the green, trees both left and right encroach creating a narrow ‘throat’. The confident golfer will take on this minor distraction and hopefully watch their ball clear all the potential hazards; alternatively you can lay up with your second, so your third will be a short iron shot to an elevated, undulating green.
