Finance Update: September, 2019
In the last newsletter, it was mentioned that all club members now have a golf insurance policy which is provided by courtesy of England Golf. It needs pointing out that this policy only provides third party liability cover e.g. in the event a member’s ball hits someone or something else. It does not provide personal accident cover or equipment cover. These can only be provided by specialist golf insurance providers such as Golf Care, or by some household insurance policies where specifically requested.
Should a member need to make a third-party claim then they need to have registered an account on the England Golf website after which they can ‘activate’ their cover. This is so that England Golf can validate that the person is a genuine member of an affiliated England Golf club.
